The suspect sure reminds me of Ted Bundy back in the day......extremely intelligent and an absolute monster behind those eyes. If he is like him, authorities are in for a ride with him (not literally), because he will use mind games. All my own opinion.
You are right, I just wish their department would be accepting of more help with investigators from other bigger agencies. I know my hubby, Police Chief (retired), would have called in the biggest and best from any agencies. I do realize also forensics will take a long time. Was just hoping this...
This is truly worrisome that they have not made an arrest in this amount of time and keep asking for the public's help. Also, no FBI at the press conference? IMO they shouldn't hold a press conference if they have nothing to say and don't take questions and not answer any.
Could have been a convicted felon since they used a knife. Wouldn't want to get caught beforehand walking around anywhere and questioned by police, that would've been a felony before they started the crime. I don't know why but I'm feeling an older male did this, someone who had been watching...
I'm sorry, I can't reconcile in my mind that this killer is not a danger to whomever they come in contact with. If you killed four people, would you be willing to be taken into custody and face the death penalty.
I hope they've checked her computer to see if there has been any contact with other individuals. I just can't see her leaving her car behind unless she was picked up. Also hope they checked with Uber.
This is a very disturbing story, wonder about police involvement. And who doesn't call the law when they find clothing and jewelry lying around outside? They plan on turning it in.....what!?!
As strange as the story sounds, I watched the fiance and I believe him. I think the police will find this "Lucy" soon (she has left a large trail with all the text messages). If the perpetrator knows it's too early for the baby to be born, then there's hope she is alive. MOO
I'm having trouble keeping up with this thread, so forgive me if this has been said. Maybe I've watched too many movies, but I've wondered all along if this was a kidnapping for ransom. There could have been a drop and someone followed, of course they would never make that public. IMO
Since the beginning I have believed the answer is in the water. It could be decades before it is discovered. There were two local couples who went out to eat and disappeared. Five years later they found them in their car, it had gone off the end of the boat ramp.....feet from the restaurant. IMO
All I've heard of is law enforcement helicopters of which some have infrared technology. It shows heat from the ground, like a manhunt looking for a criminal. I would hope they did that early on.
