It is interesting to see a sentence come down so quickly. We have a family friend who was found guilty in a trial during the spring of 2016 in Calgary. They were supposed to do sentencing in December 2016 but it still hasn't happened.

Does anyone know what number witness this is today? If I'm not mistaken the Crown is supposed to call 60 witnesses. How many more do we have and I wonder what other information they might have?

I would assume that Douglas had their blood on his gloves or clothes and it transferred to the light switch as he turned on the lights at some point.

That shed doesn't appear to be tall enough for a person to work in (not standing height.) Looks like a chemical storage shed to me. The vent is at the top of the building so that any noxious gases from chemicals can escape the shed.
