When I looked down Short Brackland there were only 2 businesses with obvious cameras and both could have been avoided if he changed his route slightly. Private CCTV is only meant to cover owners property so isn't it possible he could have walked on the other side of the road and avoided it? I...

Do we know where this static camera is exactly? Trying to catch up on posts but this thread has been moving fast!

Wow! That's a whole load of assumptions and accusations thrown in the direction of his work mates. If someone isn't named as a POI you can't really go round throwing those accusations here on Websleuths.

This has always confused me but maybe their line of thought is that a car would move faster and could have sped past any CCTV. Then again, Corrie could have been running.

So... Corrie's brother has said Corrie is not a medic but it says on the find Corrie website that he's a team medic. What's the difference?

So, on the Facebook page Corrie's mum has said that Corrie would either get a lift home, a taxi or he'd sleep in his car. He obviously didn't arrange a lift and possibly didn't have money for a taxi. I'm sure I read, in the early days, where his car was parked. Does anyone remember? Maybe he was...

I think they would have well and truly established if he'd ever walked back by now. Even if he didn't tell his mum i'm sure his friends would be aware. The message was a photo from a previous night out that someone had asked him to send. He drove into town so unlikely he would have been...

I really can't see Corrie deciding to go see a friend at that time of the morning. I can't see him wanting to go anywhere but home. When I was a young as 15 (and very stupid) I would often walk the 3 miles home alone at that time of the morning. I'd get in taxi's that would stop to offer me a...

My Nokia switches to 'battery saver' mode at 20%. This has been a standard % on all Nokia's and I don't think you can change it. I think it could easily last a few hours if it wasn't being used at all (might test this later).

Google maps says the walk from where he was last seen on CCTV to The sugar beet factory is 23 minutes. So what was he doing for the other 32 minutes?

All the areas of water mentioned seem too out of the way, unless Corrie changed paths for unknown reasons but that doesn't seem logical. If he did get out of Bury St Edmunds he would have crossed over a section of the River Lark on Fornham Road. It's about a 30 minute walk from where he was...

I think a public appeal from his army friends would be great and would probably frighten any possible perps.

The first thing I look at in missing persons cases (especially young men) is where the nearest area of water is. I followed Pat Lamb's case as Maidstone is an area I know well and straight away I felt it was clear where he'd be found. The reason I feel this is less likely with Corrie is that...

The Tesco is 24 hours (except Sat nights & Sunday) so should have been open. I read that the dogs reacted at the roundabout but it didn't seem like they were taking too much notice of it. So assume they think it was a false hit?

Ok, I've looked at maps and street view and I have a much better understanding of the area. I think if he went down Short Brackland and onto Cannon street then there's every chance he wasn't picked up on CCTV. It's mostly residential and I could only see 2 CCTV cameras. Both of which he might...
