I asked a friend who lives in Eugene and she said there have been no updates in their local papers. I didn't see an unidentified located female on Jane Doe that matches this, either.

I feel very badly for these kids. How are they supposed to control their family/friend's emotional outburst. What if mom or dad burst into loud sobs of tearful joy, would they deny the diploma over that. When you are choked up with emotion sometimes things just happen, I mean people laugh...

When we had severe power outages here our neighbor called the fire department who brought a generator for their premature grandson's oxygen/ventilator support and they were at the house in under ten minutes. I would hope they do things similarly. I also know you can file for emergency power...

It makes me so sad for the families of officers who are killed on duty. Entire communities mourn their loss and everybody including the criminal who kills them suffers. My prayers to the officers and their family and friends.
