    The McDonald's is across the street, however where she parked you couldn't see the car from McDonald's.

    Maybe she chose the car instead of home because the kids would be safe in the car seats vs. home where they could get into a lot of situations until found.

    They were focusing on her charges that day as since the last was McDonald's they probably weren't thinking more shopping. Made assumed car ran off the road...

    I live near this shopping center, her car seemed to be parked away from the store and her windows seemed to be tinted fairly dark.
