Just got a message from one of her friends. They stated she was in Manchester for the day. Most likely to relax and wander around. She had been to the quarry before to take pictures. They said "she liked that place"
wonder if any shop owners recognized her and reported it.
Would be nice to get some kind of a timeline from when she left Bennington to when her car was reported Saturday. Might be able to figure out if she was in Manchester for a bit.
She spent a week on two separate ocassions at an Inn in Manchester. Police should know that she is familiar with the area. If another poster can find that info out on social media, why can't the police?
I havent read anything about what time she left Bennington. I agree on tracks in the snow. I wouldn't think many people have visited in that timline and this time of year. One set going in and none coming out would explain a lot.
Im kind of wondering about this "family" she was staying with.
This is the best I can do at the moment for car placement. The nose of the car was right up to the grass island. Parked alongside rt 30. To the right is the entrance way to parking. Car was somewhat blocking the entrance.
Dive team went by me at 4:30. A friend in the state police told me that nothing was found and they are going back again tomorrow morning to search one more zone. I asked them if there was anything found to believe she may be in there and I haven't heard back yet.
Lots of rumours going...
. Sorry typing from phone Skim Ice Sunday when I drove by. It's been in single digits the previous two nights. Didn't take a close look when I went by this morning. Lots of police cars and such
The quarry might not be what you remember. Enlarged parking, destination spot, that can have as many as 200+ people on a hot day. I have met people from Glens Falls and North Adams that go and spend a day there. It is no longer considered "local". So for a college kid who may of been shopping...
Just went to check out quarry. Search and rescue with a scuba team are there.
Wouldn't surprise me that a college kid with some free time wouldn't visit the quarry. Lots of ice on the rocks, chance of slipping in are pretty good if your not careful. Hopeing for a good outcome
