Here's my thought. Baez figures GA & CA will plead the fifth so he used the penis in the mouth comment hoping GA would jump up and get kicked out of the court to which he could use in closing arguments as a way to put the blame on him even though he plead the fifth.
"Yes, she lied...Yes, she was scared....Yes, she lived the good life for 31 days as advertised by her beautiful tattoo...what would you do if you knew you were going to be sentenced to death...my client is guilty...the defense rests."
Let's say the prosecution does their closing from 1:00 to 3:00 and the jury is given instructions from 3:00 until 4:00 and the judge says we will start deliberations immediately. Jury comes back by 5:00 with a NG verdict. Does BC walk today?
As to the necklace, I wouldn't think it would be too far fetched to say that jogging with a necklace with a pendant would be annoying. Wouldn't it seem reasonable to take off the necklace on your way out the door to go jogging and leave it somewhere in the foyer?
Seems plausible to me if she was just going for a run. Who would want to run with a necklace flopping around your neck the whole time. I've always thought the argument that she never took off her necklace was a reach. I never take off my wedding ring, ever, except when I am going to exercise...
I'm very curious as to this line of questioning about using Nancy's phone. I think the state is reaching and I'm not a big fan of the line of questioning.
I can't imagine 2 adults getting down to 'playing nekkid kissy face' and not going farther than that unless someone suddenly got a conscience while drunk and naked...just sayin.
