Her boyfriend George died in 1938 but it looks his will was contested. This is odd, has anyone got an opinion on it? Griscom's Estate (No. 2), 9 A.2d 345, 336 Pa. 422 – CourtListener.com

Right but the ping months later is curious also. Could be a "fluke" but still some distance away if not.

Didn't his phone ping by fluke when his gf called it in September to a tower 14 miles north of Columbus?

OH - Pike County: 8 people from one family dead as police hunt for killer(s) #17

The article today further humanizes a sad situation, but has little that's factually new. I don't particularly care how much an investigation costs. It is what it is. Week six. Either they have their suspects already under scrutiny, or it's going to be a long slog. Hoping in those early first...

They were in danger. It's only a miracle one of them wasn't killed. The parents may or may not have purposely put them in danger but they were. If this isn't a crime against a child an argument could be made easily imo. https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/investigate/vc_majorthefts/cac

The FBI has stepped in with cases of child welfare though. These kids may have been spared murder and are hopefully safe with relatives at the moment but there is no doubt they were egregiously endangered. Clearly child abuse.

I haven't read that reported anywhere. She started work at 7am Thursday so she might have been on the schedule for Friday 7am as well but it's always possible the person she covered for 4/21 (working the double) was going to pick up her shift 4/22?

If they had entered through a window I believe the dogs would have gone ballistic and woke everyone up. I don't know what type of locks they had on their doors- it could be the type that locks behind you when closed or it could be a lock that needs a key to lock up from the outside. I'm thinking...

Possibly to lock the doors first making it less likely for anyone to suspect anything was wrong or get inside easily.

Could be but when BJM entered she said the doors were locked and dogs outside when they were usually inside. If you look at the one photo of the back window open, there is enough "stuff" under the window that one could have stepped down onto the ground easily without having to jump or drop too...

Also curious: He could have been moved back to the bed after he was killed. This indicates there may have been a struggle, unless the black eye is from a gunshot, idk. The open windows are most likely how they exited. Either the killers entered through unlocked doors or they were let in.
