Maybe I missed it somewhere ... anyone know why Namus shows him as missing out of Johnson City, TX? Johnson City is in Blanco County and 45 miles east of Marbridge Ranch, in Manchaca (south of Austin).

They seem to be in Probate Court and are listed as Petitions and Orders Establishing Death (dated 2019, some 8-ish years after his son reported him as missing in 2011). He was 65 went he went missing in 1980.

Regarding some of the info in the articles. Noting the young man was found by a Naval Gun Factory worker - apparently the Naval Gun Factory was in Washington, D.C. in 1946 Pants stamped USNC = US Navy Corps (?)

Date and Arlington, VA are same.

I should clarify - the person found was identified as the single person who was indicated to be on the fishing boat that crashed.
