Isn't it entirely possible the Laundries reported to the FBI that BL went "hiking" on Monday, even if that information wasn't made public? And also possible not much legal action could be taken because he was not a suspect? So maybe LE were monitoring and aware of the situation but couldn't...- Hopperthoreau
