I was in Greece the last two weeks in May and the highs on the islands we were on were only like mid 70's but it was HOT. I live in Florida and so I expected to be chilly there but that was the hottest 75 degrees I have ever experienced in my life. The sun is just brutal too. Hearing about all...
I think Gio is who she knew, was connected with, and supposed to see. He was who she last face timed with. The two guys that have been arrested in connection with the carjacking, it has not been released or isn't known whether they are connected with Gio.
ETA: it is very difficult to keep all...
I've wondered how long that very large decal with for sale & phone number had been on the victim's car. The vehicle itself is a pretty common one in a common color. The decal is certainly something that would stand out and allow someone(s) waiting for it to pass by on an expected route to spot...
Ahhh, the beautiful Edgar cut, also known as takuache. Very popular among younger Latin men here in Florida. Probably other places too but I know I see it here a lot more than I'd like to.
ETA: my husband goes to a local Latin barber and Jesus, God love him, regularly sends him home looking...
They arrested the guy she last spoke to. He went on the run last week. Man believed to be last person to speak with woman carjacked near Winter Springs arrested on drug charges
Honestly, the Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvias case over in Orlando right now is making me look at this case with some serious side eye. He is another person from Miami Dade area that drove several hours from home with no explanation of why he was there.
Yes, the cleaning of the vehicle and returning it to close to her home is highly suspect but makes it less likely to me that someone from the homeless encampment did something to her. Not impossible, just less likely. I'm wondering if the powdery substance residue from cleaning might have been...
As soon as no one was willing to provide a reasonable and truthful explanation why she was 4 hours away from home AND did not call 911 when the incident started, this was my suspicion as well. Somebody set her up. IMO, she knew what was in her vehicle and what she was doing and maybe had done it...
I think LE announcing that her brother helped them, even a little bit, puts a target on him. I don't know that it was necessary to release that he is who provided them the information so that was probably deliberate. Husband is less likely to talk maybe because he is way deeper in it. Hopefully...
This guy got busted for sending 200 pounds of cocaine using USPS. It was over a period of time and in 3 lb bundles.

Since both the victim and their spouse seem to own small businesses, I suspect those businesses and their financial records are going to come under a lot of scrutiny. I think this incident is going to ultimately uncover a lot of other things that were going on.
