    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 10th July - Trial Day 18

There's NO way GBC did not know about Kholo Creek bridge. You remember that property that GBC was managing at Anstead where he needed police (? Murray Watson?) involvement??? Sorry, I'm new to posting so I have NO idea how to find an old post let alone put it in a new post! Sorry Marly!! Anyway...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 7th July - Trial Day 15

Sorry if this has already been clarified by other Sleuthers....Allison's psychiatrist Dr Tom George noted that she had transient suicidal thoughts.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 25th June - Trial Day 10, Week 3

Forgive me if I have missed discussion about this, but it seems that the defence has NOT cross examined Ms Reeves about the age of the blood found in the Captiva. Does this mean that the defense accepts that the blood was NOT there BEFORE 19/20 April???

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 19th June - Trial Day 7, Week 2

Wow, Mrs Norris! This is an incredible post. I believe you have absolutely nailed it!! You have captured the essence of what drove this terrible chain of events. It does seem that for both GBC and ABC, much of their behaviour was driven by the image that they wanted the world to see. Having...

I've also wondered whether Allison walked outside vs using the treadmill. Being a dedicated treadmill user myself, I noted that the TV on the dresser faced AWAY from the treadmill. I ALWAYS watch a TV/video when I'm on the treadmill so that I can distract myself from this unpleasant, boring...

And this timeframe might coincide with the birth of their eldest daughter. Gerard & Allison were married for 15 years. Eldest daughter was 10 years old when poor Allison died. Just doing the maths here...15 minus 10 equals 5. Sounds like post natal depression to me.

But wasn't the whole house declared a crime scene on Day 1 (20th April)? No one would have been allowed to touch anything until every item in the house had been searched thoroughly. I'm not sure when it was stated that GBC was allowed to return in order to retrieve personal belongings.

Sorry if anyone one else has offered this explanation for the suitcases found on Allison & Gerard's bed....I'm wondering if one of them was packing to leave (the marriage)? I'm wondering if this was the catalyst for the final escalation on that terrible night of the 19th. It could have happened...

I agree Ladybird. Perhaps under the guise of "reassuring" the girls & helping them to calm down on that awful morning, GBC could have been subtly 'coaching' them. He could have said things like "Don't worry girls, mummy & I are good friends, we are very happy, we fight sometimes but it only...

Here's a question that keeps nagging at me...NBC was clever enough not to give a formal statement to the police at the time Allison went missing, thus ensuring that his words couldn't be used against him at a later date. However, his testimony in court this week appears to contradict a lot of...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay - Trial Day 1 - 10th June, 2014-Week 1

Hi All. This is my first post. I've lurked since the beginning but had nothing to contribute. A friend of a friend was called for jury duty on this case, but didn't make it past selection. She is an avid WS follower. According to her, most of the jurors selected were "burly looking males", one...
