I was trying to hang on to the positive about the rain water moving something "loose" in the case, but then after watching the news and seeing how many cars are being left roadside due to flash flooding... I feel like that's going to complicate matters.

I don't want to make any blanket statements, but I'm not sure the motels in our area list vehicles when a guest registers. I have had my share of "staycations" and I've never had anyone ask about my vehicle.

I am assuming then that the victim had some sort of make-up on when found? I wonder if they were to release a photo of just her eye area (eyebrows and eye only) if someone would recognize her style. Might be a reach, just thinking aloud.

Glad to help. I cannot speak for other states/counties/jurisdictions, BUT I have to say that here in Houston, LE is usually tight lipped on most cases. We have reached out to several families regarding disappearances/unsolved murders, and quite a few have commented that investigators do not...

I believe the hashtag being used most is #JusticeforLiz. I haven't found a FB yet, if I do I'll link it. I know there are shirts for sale and pins to help with reward money and such. Not sure if we can post GoFundMe's either but there is a picture of the shirt there, but I'm not sure how to go...

HCSO has Liz's case, the raid debacle is HPD's issue.

Same thoughts we had when we saw the posts. Not sure if they're trying to get ahead of it or what the angle is. We shall see.

She's still listed on NamUs: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) The HCSO link also does not work from above. Does anyone know where we can find a confirmation?
