GUILTY Ireland - Ashling Murphy, 23, school teacher, beaten to death, Tullamore, County Offaly, 12 Jan 2022 *arrest*

I just hope the case isn't thrown out due to prejudice. Social media has had a field day with this and he was identified on Twitter before he was charged.

Had that crowd got hold of him outside that courthouse he would have been beaten to death. I can't remember a case that caused so much anger, except maybe Larry Murphy

Funerals happen very fast in Ireland, usually within around 3 days. With a murder autopsy will usually be carried out within 24 hours ( as happened here) so there is no need for them not to realease the body.

Found Deceased Ireland - Bernadette Connolly, 45, last seen on beach, phone found, Swords, Dublin, 7 Jan 2022

This case has really had very little coverage here in Dublin. I only heard about it through a friend who uses Facebook, I dont. But I haven't seen anything on any of the news sites. I know the news has been absolutely saturated with the Ashling Murphy case the last few days but this case pre...

Why have they blocked this persons face if they are trying to identify him? It certainly looks like the bike

WV WV - Jaleayah Davis, 20, Parkersburg, 19 November 2011

Has there ever been a computer generated reconstruction done? This is a very bizarre case & if it's not an accident then I still cant think of any explanation that would point to a murder. The clothes hanging on the guardrail seem to be the biggest conondrum in this case.

Ireland Esra Uyrun, 38, mother. Left in car to go shopping, never returned. Dublin. 23 February 2011

I'm from the area Esra went missing from and this case always stays with me. So many questions. Unfortunately the Gardaí presumed this to be a suicide early on and so really didn't give it the attention they should have. I really don't believe it was a suicide and the fact her car keys turned up...

Found Deceased UK - Leah Croucher, 19, Emerson Valley, Milton Keynes, 14 Feb 2019 #2

Just an fyi for anyone who is interested in LE in the UK and how they work cases, there is a fantastic series called 24 hours in police custody. It really is excellent and shows how they build cases for the CPS. Pretty sure it's on YouTube, well worth a watch.
