Such a fascinating trial, the prosecution was fantastic, I thought the defense was very weak throughout, but their closing argument was definitely their highlight. I think they prosecution proved their case and Carter deserves a guilty verdict, but I have no idea what the judge will decide...

Wow, I thought the defense was weak last week, but today was just embarrassing and downright infuriating. I was interested in the "expert witness" initially, but DAMN did they drop the ball. I'm sure this will weigh negatively on the judge, it certainly did throughout the testimony.

I'm just hearing the news today. Bittersweet information, I expect a potential plea deal where she reveals where the body is. Most of the evidence seems circumstantial, so they may just go all in, but the circumstantial evidence seems Scott peterson level. So I doubt it.

The solving of the Jacob Wetterling case, as devestating as it was, has given a lot of people hope for getting these prominent aduction cases solved. I think this case is chief among them, a horrifying story that demands closure and answers. I have a good feeling about next year...
