All of us here feel the same way; no matter what there will be justice. It may take some time but eventually someone will make a mistake or something will be found.
I really doubt it was a serial killer. There have not been any unsolved murders around the area that I can think of. Or any that were not gang-related/etc where none of the witnesses saw anything. ;)
If there is information that they felt would be helpful to release it would've been done. So...
From what I hear out of Drew the FBI, DCI, and local police are still doing all they can to pursue any lead they get. They want this solved as badly as anyone especially given the victims were so young and innocent. If they have anything to go on and that tidbit could be jeopardized by releasing...
She's home doing well. I just saw Drew yesterday at a lunchtime hockey game we both played in. I don't usually ask him things related to Elizabeth; but if he wants to talk about it then that's fine and we'll talk about things. When he's ready or wanting to discuss things he always does. I'm not...
Drew and Heather were asked for a list of anyone they even remotely considered as potential suspects; more than once. As to it being a former employee, friend, family member, etc. I'd virtually guarantee everyone who has had contact with the family has been looked into in one way or another. I'd...
From what I've seen/heard being a friend of Drew and Heather this is certainly not true. There is not the close friendship you'd normally see with siblings, trust me it's no hoax. Drew and Heather have bent over backwards to try and help out through the years and the pattern just repeats itself...
All one has to do is to look at Drew and see what this has done to him. IMO Heather has had unimaginable faith and strength which has helped hold Drew up. They gave up their phones and computers right away to the FBI. I laughingly told Drew that I'd looked back at every text/email I'd sent him...
I have no idea about any specific details. I'd imagine based on them being found though that they were not buried especially with clothing/shoes found. Thank God they were found before the snow hit and also before spring when flooding may have washed away anything left there. Usually a group of...
Per a family member the Bremer County Sheriff has refused to release the recording of the 911 call that came in when they were found; the sheriff's wife told the family member he didn't want to because the call was very graphic. There was also a car that was gone over top to bottom by the FBI...
The only upside is it's still under warranty for a year... like that's some consolation if they can't get it done yet today, argh. I'd imagine Drew and Heather will hit the road yet today to escape being caught in the storm. Now off to fix the flame sensor/thermocouple in the furnace that acts...
Just can't wait to get that maybe 10"+ of snow... then the wind/blizzard, lol. Of course Mr. Intelligent waited until last night to fire up (or rather try to fire up) the snow blower. Obviously it balked... weak/intermittent spark. So, off to the dealer it went today and we'll see if I luck out...
One request... keep Heather and all of the family in your thoughts and prayers for even another reason. I just saw her and this Friday will be her surgery to move the pacemaker/defibrillator. She's one incredibly strong woman to say the least and having her surgery go well will be all many of us...
Thanks, I'll have to read the rules closely as I only skimmed over them. This whole ordeal is almost surreal to us. It's hard to see what Drew, Heather, and the kids (along with other family members and friends) have had to endure over these last five months. I've come to know Drew and his...
