The contact to police would have been 24 hours after last physical contact, so I have no problem with that. They we're calling all around to try to locate her and used SM to get the work out cheaply. Seen that in other cases. When they exhausted all avenues they contacted LE.

That contradicts the updated missing poster available on the FB page that "It is unknown if she returned home."

At least if she was jogging when abducted (and the fitbit recording) of at rest at home.

If there is a "solid timeline" then they likely have a known suspect, meaning some relationship. Otherwise a stranger ubduction introduces more unknowns into the timeline IMO.

OK but the family suggests otherwise. IIRC there was an early report that they had searched nearby mobile home park. For some reason this is starting to remind me of the Sierra Lamar case.

The new missing poster says "possible abduction". And that she was out on a run but cannot confirm she returned to the house. She would have been out on the run with her phone & fitbit. The crime scene would then be out on the roads.

Sometimes the perp joins the searches to keep an eye on the investigation.
