I'm really glad that this case was solved. As I stated in another thread, I did some digging around and saw that a Diana Mirabel was searching for them. She lives in Virginia Beach, VA and I believe she was the one that contacted the NY police. I'll be curious to find out the circumstances...

I did some digging around and it appears that a relative or friend posted she was looking for them. Diana Maribel I believe is her name.

They arrested the girls father today in both killings.

Did they say if they learned what happened around the time Diane Cusack went missing?

My sister teaches in RI. She moved there 4 years ago from Connecticut. RI teachers are paid poorly compared to states closer than them.

The fact that the landlord of the properties failed to check his criminal history says a lot. I wouldn't want a criminal working for me and having the type of responsibility he has. Anything could happen.
