Drinking leads to careless, bad decisions which can have serious consequences. He would have been sober and anxious to prepare for the next day if he was leaving. I just don't see it. In all the Ugly Tuna security footage he looks relaxed and happy. There is no doubt in my mind if he had run...

Airline Pilot Wife Die From Opioid Overdose/Children Find Parents Call 911

Looks like southwestern Ohio is the worst: "One of the hardest-hit spots was Hamilton County, home to Cincinnati, where on a single day in late August(2016) there were 48 heroin overdoses and two deaths. From Aug. 15 to Sept. 4, the Drug Enforcement Administration has recorded 208 overdoses."

This was what the construction looked like around the Ugly Tuna a little later than the disappearance, maybe in 2007 when it was close to completion. It was all in a one block area called South Campus Gateway.

Airline Pilot Wife Die From Opioid Overdose/Children Find Parents Call 911

I was just saying in another thread on here that drugs are a serious epidemic in Ohio, and they are not bound by class/race/age.

Thanks for posting this. If you look south on High St. you can see 5th Ave, also a very fast way out of campus area that would get you to the Scioto River and watershed area. If you follow north on High St. from Ugly Tuna that would get you to Lane Ave. and near all the student housing and the...

This needs to be on a cold case show or podcast. Really... :waiting:

Wow! I never heard this before! That would make a lot of sense though if his body was dumped near there. One of the quickest ways out of Ugly Tuna/campus area(and one of the most frequently used) is to take Lane Ave. and head west about 10-15 minutes. You would pop out near Hilliard which is...

This is what we call Occam's razor-- the simplest solution is almost always the right one. The more assumptions you have to make and more "wild" an explanation is the more unlikely it becomes. Did he somehow leave the country undetected which is almost impossible with enough money and resources...

This is the thing that makes me positive he was doing something illegal(and the fact that no one wants to talk or get involved) just because someone appears straightlaced and upstanding doesn't mean they necessarily are. Drugs are just very common in Ohio and are almost considered an epidemic...

They might be gathering evidence to charge him with a full-blown probation violation where they can extend his probation, impose new probation terms, order him back to jail briefly or revoke the probation completely and order him to serve out the rest of his sentence.

They impound any car where the person operating the vehicle is caught driving with a suspended license.

BTW I think the state does not take a DNA sample automatically from anyone arrested with a DUI or PV which is classified as a misdemeanor, only if you commit a felony. I'm not sure they'd be able to test his DNA from a drug test though or if that's considered illegal if he is only *allegedly*...

What's up? Any word about what they found on the farm/property? Hoping for some justice here! :tantrum:

I think a lot of people don't realize this but once you drive a short ways out of Columbus(which is a really small city!) it's immediately woods/farm/fields and there is basically nothing around until you drive an hour away closer to either Cleveland/Akron or Dayton. You can zip out of the city...
