Not a crime to dis-appear. I'm curious why she is in NAMUS?? If it's true that her geneology matches Jane Doe, does she have a sister? Seems like an awfully large coincidence.
Given those last names are in fact in her family history, I would say this is looking very good for a match. I wasn't able to find much information on her, but I hadn't started digging in either. Good work
O.K., Just looked on NAMUS and she was most likely in the Figueroa street area. Which is bad... If you can think of a crime, it happens there. However, it is an area of focus for community out reach. The drawback is that gangs run the area. So people will not talk about crimes.
Addiction is really prevalent in the homeless community, particularly Fentanyl.
Has her family posted any information about what part of Los Angeles she was setting up? There are concentrations of homeless in multiple locations around the city. Hollywood, and "skid row" being the most well...
Yes, I thought the same thing, and about the same suspect. Richard Allen Davis was already abducting women when Jackie dis-appeared. There is no evidence of this being the case, but it seems from what was found at the time that it was a break in, and abduction.

MysteryRoad. I was thinking the same thing. There are some questions though. For example the dogs traced her scent to the road, not off the road. (If I recall correctly)
Oh man, I'm a huge fan of Toni Collette. I have not seen that yet, but I will watch soon. From what I have seen on the previews it sure looks to be an inspiration.
People go there every day to see the sunset. A lot of cars go there just to park and listen to the ocean. It's a pretty populated area. Having said that, when I had my close call there, no one was around. I often think about that day and wonder if I had fallen if I would still be considered...
It is sketchy out there. I almost fell off the edge into the rocks when I was about 15. The problem is that the cliffs look really easy to get down in a few spots, trying to get back up is really, really bad. I was saved by a pulling on a weed, yes a weed, and wiggling back up.
