I may have missed this, but does anyone know what type of ticket a single from Doncaster to London Andrew bought? Was it one of those travelcards that includes all tube and bus journeys? Or just a direct single to Kings Cross?- JammyGem

Not personally, but the police were told this by a few of the regulars at the time, but as far as they're aware it didn't go any further.- JammyGem

A friend of mine knows the area and the regulars at The Nags Head well. She mentioned to me about a regular who often engaged in odd behaviour who suddenly disappeared to Scotland in the weeks following her disappearance, despite living and working in York for decades.
