The man to whom Chief Miller (he's now the chief in Hendersonville) was referring is DS. He has already been named in this thread -- can someone clarify for me whether or not I'm allowed to name him?
He wasn't named in that article because - I'm guessing - because they didn't have enough to...
Adcox was a very good suspect, but later in life he pretty freely admitted to LE the awful things he did to children, but denied involvement in Kathy's murder (this was told directly to me by Mickey Miller, the investigator interviewed in this article). DS is probably the more likely suspect...
@LeRyansWarrior I read that as notifying a car from the homicide division, rather than notifying the officers in that particular car of a known homicide.
I'm attaching the missing persons report on LeRyan as well as MNPD's incident report from when his remains (obviously unidentified at the time) were located.

Someone recently got in touch with me to say that their...
They definitely interviewed kids, though I don't know if any of them ever walked with Kathy. When I spoke with Mickey Miller (who is now the chief in Hendersonville), he talked about how they interviewed people who had been at the rink that night. Some thought they saw her, others thought they...
Her home was on Grandview. The empty lot where Kathy was found (behind the Krispy Kreme) is still empty. Part of it is where the McSpedden home was. There are some pictures of the lot that I took in 2017 as well as some photos from Margaret McSpedden's family here.
I honestly don't know about the cab companies. I'm going to check with people who were around back then to see what they remember. I remember seeing an article (from around the time of the crime) at one point during my research about a child being approached by someone in a green car, and then a...
Just wanted to update everyone — my podcast about this case, Flatrock, premieres tomorrow. Over the course of the series, I’ll be giving some very significant information that was not reported on this case. You can listen through any of the major podcast platforms, or you can listen via the...
I've been working on researching Kathy's case on and off for almost two years. I'm a podcaster (true crime), and I'm going to be creating an entire long-form investigative podcast on Kathy's case this year. I got a little write-up on the Nashville Scene website about it the other day, if you're...
