Are Chad and Lori still in separate county jails? I've been away from this for a while.

Prior always seems to want to say as little as possible and get out as quickly as he can.

I'm not going to bad mouth that woman--not that you have. She was deep into a cult. She needs professional help. I hope she is getting it. It's going to take some time for her to realize just how much damage that did to her and to take responsibility for it.

That made no sense to me either.

I wonder if this waiver wasn't prepared weeks ago as a kind of "just in case" situation, and then used today after CD's awful preliminary hearing in the last two days.

Thanks for the info. All three seem very competent, and I was especially impressed with Dean. Quite the techie, but also able to evaluate evidence coming in through local tips.

It's possible that Means talked to each separately before Chad took Lori's call. ?
