I think about either couple being killed because they witnessed something (to me that makes most sense), however, all reports say all four were killed in their sleep. Doesn’t that mean they were all in bed? If they were killed for being a witness, I’d assume they’d be in a hallway or doorway?

Yeah, I got an astonished or surprised tone. Their behavior following this exchange didn’t match discontent between the two.

Maybe I misunderstanding here, but my thought is, the persons or person driving the car was doing so without the knowledge of the owner and is guilty- if they haven’t come forward. I guess this is all fodder.

Could be someone’s elderly family member’s car that doesn’t drive often nor a news junky, keeps it parked in a garage all the time. Keeping in line with the theory this person is methodical, they wouldn’t drive their own car near the site. Or even a summer car vs a winter car. I’ve never lived...

The fact she posted a photo of her and all her roommates the night before her murder makes me think it was a seized opportunity before she left the state. Of course, this is all personal observations.

I thought about this too. Going on foot or riding a bike to where their car is located, but wasn’t it extremely cold and snowing? I’ve never lived in an area that gets this cold, would it be more suspicious to be on a bike during this time of year? Plus, what about shedding the clothes worn...

I agree, hopeful perhaps, but I have an inkling that there is a more fact driven reason for the public’s help in locating the car and inhabitants.

The focus on the white sedan makes me think that LE know more about this car than they are sharing.

I don’t think this killer stayed and enjoyed his crime, but at first thought, I pictured a self gratification scenario. The more I read, the more I think this individual only had execution in mind, though. All unprofessional personal opinions.

I assumed the 3 to 4am window was because “they” surmise this would be the opportune time to commit the murders while the world sleeps and under the cover of darkness. I don’t think anything official has come out by way of timing. I wonder how long the murders took to complete.
