Quite simply I would not wish to assume either the innocence nor guilt of a person without hearing/knowing all available evidence.

I could well be mistaken here, but frankly we have no idea of what Leah's home life was like. So far we have a one sided report from parents. No accusation nor guilt meant, but really what do we know? I have no idea what has happened, but hoping Leah is safe and well. At the moment considering...

Being in possession of an offensive weapon ? OIMO but such things do get dumped/hidden/disposed of rapidly when those carrying are approached by police. Could have happened at any time by someone, I don't know the rate of burglaries in that area.

Well, why increase it if the reward offered hasn't helped? Where do you stop? I would be really interested to hear of a case in the UK that has been resolved or even forwarded by an offered reward. I would add that imo an offer of a reward does is increase publicity in MSM.
