This is pretty scary. I live in Austin also. There was a report on statesman.com saying that there may have been a trip wire. If that is true, this person might be changing his technique because of all the local coverage. Does anyone here have any experience with geographic profiling?

Some were 15 minutes away, some were 20 minutes away. I don't know of any that were further away than that. Generally speaking though, this is probably the safest city I have lived in.

Yes. This is a pretty interesting case. All 3 of those are very similar. 2 prostitues, found with heads and arms removed, about 6 hours north west of long island. Also, it has been suggested that LISK may have been a seasonal visitor. Maybe he changed his vacation area a few hours north...

I just came here to link to this same story. I definitely found it interesting since I read somewhere from a profiler that the LISK may have moved to upstate new york.
