I believe she would be placed in Protective Custody for her own protection. Which I think is a shame, put her in General Pop and let them do with her as they please.

I am not sure, but I wonder, if she did, could the baby have been a girl instead so she decided she didn't want it since it didn't fit into her telling people she had a boy? I thought I read that she said she had a baby and it was in NICU or something along those lines.

I live about 15 minutes from Coquille. This is so very sad and tragic. I am greatful that our police have actually made an arrest in this case. Coquille police seem to be notorious for letting cases go cold. This is a link to our local newspaper...
