When I was in elementary school 90 miles down the road from Lake Charles the “B”s for Boudreaux and Broussard made up half of the attendance roll call every morning. On of my husband’s best friends is a Broussard.

Broussard is a very common surname in south Louisiana, it’s Cajun.
