I entirely understand your point, however I simply love postmortem photos and find them fascinating. Call it morbid curiosity.

They do look alike, but i think the girls eyes are set deeper, her jaw is narrower and tbe noses are different.

I am not I am not a genealogist but it's very hard for me to believe either of her parents could have been black.

Yes sadly during cremation all DNA is destroyed. Is there an article saying she was cremated? We have to be realistic, but sometimes all it takes is one person looking at one photo at the right time and things start moving forward.

Bump for the Jane doe, maybe next year will bring some movement.

I can't tell from the photos I have of her. Freckles tend to fade with age if you protect your skin from the sun. To have visible freckles like EDJD had, she'd have some freckles as a child, and they would get darker and more of them due to exposure to sun.

Does the teenaget have visibly assymetrical jaw or is it just the photo? I will have a look at other photos of Jane doe but I don't recall seeing this assymetrical on her. I don't believe such feature would go as the girl aged.

Is this lady as short as Jane doe was? Doe for what I remember was about 5'?

The jaw and chin are visibly different, but like someone mentioned before the face gets 'fuller' due to excessive alcohol consumption.

May I just add, the surname 'Qvist' originally would be a nickname for someone lean and tall, meaning Twig or Wick. A suggestion from a Dutch speaker, as apparently this is where the surname came from.
