I am really surprised by this excerpt from the statement attributed to Chris and Shauntel Kepner in the article above:
"At this time, it is deeply painful and disturbing to our family that the person responsible is able to walk freely. This reality adds to our grief and outrage. It is...
Oh, I've just noticed that the name of the town is misspelled in the Forum title. Is there a way to fix that? From the article, it looks like it should be Churchville, with an "R."
This is really disturbing and sad. The fact that he just pulled the stun probes out and then barricaded himself inside is frightening. Rest in peace to the victims.
I'm way behind on this thread, so forgive me if this has already been addressed: I didn't see all of the articles, but I suspect that "camp" may be a weak translation for "bivouac." A camp likely would have a tent, as beubeubeu went on to comment after my snip above, but "bivouac" in climbing...
I'm not sure HIPAA is involved here: that law prevents medical professionals from releasing your info. It doesn't apply to anyone else, like LE, acquaintances, coworkers, etc. (though any of those releasing health info might cross other lines, possibly legal, and certainly...
What a sad, strange case.
In answer to the article's question, I wonder if the father simply feels compassion for the animals that he'd likely gotten to be close to while dating his ex. It would be heartbreaking, but I could imagine someone who had bonded with a partner's pets (ok, horses are...
I wonder if he worked enough for those benefits to amount to very much. Seems he had trouble holding down jobs before the decision (? or forced outcome) to become a SAHD.

Snipped by me - I also looked over the PSU programs and did not find her name. And I agree that even the degree/field of study is not clear. Given that the LinkedIn profile seems outdated, maybe it really was just a class assignment a while back (as someone else suggested) and populated...
True, it's not showing the homestead buildings. But those two buildings in the bottom left quadrant of the photo you're referencing are actually the two buildings that are pretty much due west of the homestead group of buildings in other photos. If I remember correctly, they've been estimate...
Here's another report, and it initially sounds from this one like she's safe now, and LE is only looking for her husband, but the dates/days of the week don't seem to match up with what the first article I posted is saying. Hoping this is just a glitch in reporting, and that she truly is safe...

This is truly bizarre. I hope this woman is safe, and can remain safe!
Agreed. At least one of the photos of the "sand pit" shows what looks like a cement mixer immediately to its left. A sand mound of that size, and with a mixer nearby says to me that they were using it for some sort of construction on the property.
I'm curious about your info on the first baby's death date. Did I miss that in one of the sources (easy for me to do - I'm following so many threads right now), or were you just counting back?
Assuming all were hers, I think it's likely that they were all single births (even harder to hide...
I think I've read that poisoning or chronic health conditions can also be detected by testing the bone chemistry. Does anyone have better info on whether that's truly possible?
