I think we all realize there will be several appeals in the future.. The appeals will be very absurd and almost comical how she will play the victim of this mean and spiteful judge (tic) who was so biased against her. oh brother...

Again, who cares because it doesn't establish guilt or innocence.. ONLY MAY matter to the death penalty part or more likely to sentencing. Premature for sure.

This trial and verdict can't get over quick enough. She is trying to make a mockery out of the justice system
Next motion for Lori Daybell will be to ask for the Supreme Court of the United States to intervene in the trial and stop these terrible terrible judges from unfairly ruining her life.
Unless the kid that was killed repeatedly punched the accused over and over (and his mug shot looks like he doesn't have a scratch on his body), this case seems pretty straightforward. The only question will be 1st degree or 2nd degree or manslaughter.

Even with this it won't work, juries are down to earth people and generally don't fall for lame excuses.
BK has no chance of an acquittal or even hung jury IMO.
In multiple interviews with people like this that happened to bring weapons to regular events, they always say they were thinking about the weapon all the time while they were there. Fixating on it. So it makes sense you would instantly drag it out if any conflict arises.
Does not matter that they can't see what happened in the video.
One kid brings a knife to a track meet, the other does not.
IMHO, the law does not allow you to use lethal force on someone who just pushes you or even punches you.
