His family has money. They got him lawyered up. Police backed off. Case was put on the back burner and now seems forgotten. I wish there was a way to get this back in the media. :(

BUMP and a vent: It is very hard to see pictures of Nick with his new baby. I know how badly Heidi wanted to be a mother one day and she will never get that chance. Will the person responsible for her death ever be held accountable?

Bump for Heidi. This case is too quiet. 6 months and the person that did this is just out there living life. :( I added a beautiful pic of Heidi as my avatar.

I didn't know them during that time. I can only say that I have HEARD that they were high school sweethearts/met in church.. so that is, I suppose, hearsay. I am also sickened that it seems that Heidi didn't even see it coming at all. :( I pray that she had no clue who shot her in those final...

No arrests. They are still searching for this "strange intruder" that her husband was able to get sketched out- once he conveniently remembered what the intruder looked like after he retained counsel. :banghead:
