After the trial is done, and the jurers are dismissed - are they given access to any kind of counseling?
I cannot imagine spending 5 months with this case, being consumed by it, having my life in limbo because of it, and then making a very very big decision. Life altering, literally - but not...

Only since 1994 has the system ensured that a convicted criminal serve at least 85% of the sentence, removing uncertainty about the actual length of time served.
For those of you not in AZ, did you know that AZ has an 85% policy? ie, she may get 25 years, but will be eligible for parole after she serves 85% of that. So 21.25 years.
I'm not an expert on this, but I THINK that's what it means.
