    Search of MR's house Aug. 14, 2013

Or he's just one of those cocky, cold-blooded people who think they are smarter than everyone else, and doesn't need any help. Or so dense or naïve that he thinks he is helping himself by talking. But I would agree with you - no way he has a lawyer advising him with the way he's acting and...

    Search of MR's house Aug. 14, 2013

I am so glad to see things moving on this case. I agree there is a reason for this new search. And it seems they were after very specific things. I am hopeful that they find something that leads to an arrest. The cell phone intrigues me. They took phones in the first search, if I recall...

    GUILTY TX - Alanna Gallagher, 6, Saginaw, 1 July 2013 - #9

Finally caught up on everything that happened today while I was at work. I am so glad to hear that the killer has been found. I didn't suspect the parents, always thought it was someone in the neighborhood, and he was on my radar when I saw that video from when the police were at his house. My...

ATF can be brought in to assist with cases of arson. I know they have assisted on arson cases around here in the past. I would imagine with this particular case, the locals are using every resource they have available. JMO

Our metropolitan area has 560,000+ people. There is only one such case I can recall, and it happened more than 25 years ago, so it is outside of the scope of your question. Child murder occasionally happens but it is generally parents, acquaintances, and a couple of drive by gang related...

My understanding is that LE will get a search warrant to avoid legal issues later should they arise. Also I believe that without a search warrant a person can stop the search at any time, and refuse to allow them to remove any item. It covers their (LE's) bases, and doesn't necessarily imply...

Ah, Mr. Yuck... He graced so many items in my house when my boys were small. Also when they were small, our school had a similar program. The poster had an adult sized hand print, and it was known as the "Helping Hands" program. I was a stay at home mom at the time, and we had one. My husband...

BBM In my opinion, people would just switch it off. I live in an area that gets small tornadoes a couple of times a year, and larger ones on occasion. About 28 years ago, an F-5 and an F-4 tornado went through our area in the same night, and devastated a few towns. After that, the tornado...

Since it was between 4:30 and 5:00 when Mark finally texted Elaine to ask if she knew where Dylan was, her day at the office would likely be over already anyway, so I suppose you could say she finished her day at the office. It would take a few minutes to make the phone calls and get out of...

CO - Dylan Redwine - Forensics Discussion- *WARNING!* MAY INCLUDE GRAPHIC DETAILS

Maybe they would say that to try and make an unnamed POI a little more comfortable? Keep him talking? And maybe he was telling a partial truth... "We've recovered everything we are going to" without adding "from this specific area" or "in this search". I never really thought they would just...

From the same article: So one shoe was found. No mention of shoe laces but no shoes, as Mark said. Glad to hear they are back out looking.

Actually, it doesn't have a built in GPS chip, but it can be used for maps/navigation etc with the right app. However, since it is only WiFi, you have to be connected to a hot spot for it to work. I don't think there would be any hotspots in that area of Middle Mountain Road, so no... it would...

I would have to check mine, but I am pretty sure the Touch does have GPS... BUT you have to be connected to the internet via WiFi for it to work. The Touch does not have the option for 3G/4G. So I'm not sure how much help it would be anyway.

Didn't his friend say on Tricia's radio show that he had shown her that road and told her that it was closed in the winter? I think I remember that, and my apologies if my memory is wrong. I have to get ready for work, and don't have time to check it out right now.

I think they had some clue or clues that led them to that area of Middle Mountain. With the acres and acres of wilderness, with all the mountains around there... they just happened to organize this massive search and go right to that spot on that mountain? Talk about lucking into your proverbial...
