State rests rebuttal case - thread #167

I really don't understand why they are dragging the jury through more expert testimony. Do they honestly think hired expert testimony is going to change any jurors mind at this point. It seems obvious the state and DT could drag 50 experts in to contradict each other.

State rests rebuttal case- thread #163

Completely off topic but just needed to post this. Hug your loved ones and tell them you love them. I live on a corner of a quiet street in a little town. The speed limit is 25mph throughout village limits. My house is at the bottom of a pretty steep street, kids fly down it daily on...

    trial day 53: REBUTTAL; #161

I also found it odd that JA just sat with her head turned, crying out her nose again. If her version were true I would think she would be looking straight at him, shaking her head, I would.

I was curious, are there any "shot first" peeps out there who have now changed their mind? I believed Dr. Horn, it doesn't make sense why she would stab first but he's an expert and the fact the DT didn't bring anyone in to refute it made it certain for me. Thoughts?

04/22/2013 - waiting for rebuttal to continue

My sister had her handwriting analyzed years ago, she had a bit of "the crazies herself". I loved her dearly but she did many things that just made me wonder about her. Anyway this three page report on her was more spot on than I, my mother or anyone could have done. To think a stranger could...

:gasp: I just saw the pic of Travis' face straight on with a sheet pulled up covering the throat gash and showing the bullet wound. I didn't know this one existed and found it more disturbing than the throat one. I TRULY PRAY THIS JURY DOES THE RIGHT THING!!!!!!

Regarding the bear vs tiger question I wish DR.D would have elaborated with. Well if you were attacked by a bear but somehow escaped unharmed vs being attacked by a tiger in which you kill the tiger, then yes very different.

But I thought she couldn't remember the stabbing because her hippocampus was flooded and that's why she can't remember the stabbing. How can she have PTSD from something not remembered. I wish Dr.D would have gone into it more. It seems as if the DT tried to give two reasons for the fog...

Especially seeing as no one knows what the scene looked like before her cleanup. I mean realistically considering what happened and all the blood involved they only found one single palm print.

I've been really busy and don't have much time to read posts today. I did see a few posts regarding Juans current rebuttal witness list, though I haven't seen it. Anyone kind enough to post it if you know? TIA

Seeing as her family was in the restaurant business for many years. It could have been a professional knife that was brought home from the closed business. My family had a restaurant and we often brought things home simply because they were of better quality.Just another idea:moo:

I truly think she thought taking the camera would make her a suspect. As for why she put it in the wash....Don't forget, high intelligence doesn't mean the person has common sense and after getting to see so much of her over these months, I have a firm belief that she lacks common sense. She...
