Whoa, good sleuthing! I registered just so I could congratulate you on the promising lead. The date discrepancy is concerning, though. Unless it was transcribed incorrectly (e.g. a 09/23 becoming a 04/23), this could be a dead end. I couldn't find any digitized newspapers from the time period...
