i've live here in columbia all my life & i can confirm the case got a ton of attention. i was in my early teens at the time (im 43 now), but i've never forgot about this case. i can remember bumper stickers w/ her face on them....posters all over the place...etc.

And this begs the question... Who was screaming in the parking lot?

my son (who goes to the same school she does) told me earlier that he asked 1 of his teachers about her today & the teacher didnt even have a clue about it. she was shocked when my son told her that a student from their school was missing. SMH

went to my sons high school marching band competition this weekend.....when it was over, found a flyer for her under the windshield wiper of my car. apparently someone had placed flyers on all the cars during the event.

yea, this is right in my backyard.....15 or so minutes away from where i live. her mom even works for the same company i do. its surreal. cant believe she hasnt been found. i dont understand how people go missing without a trace......especially nowadays.

IMHO the death penalty is no punishment really. so u kill the criminal? he suffers a few seconds, then hes dead. he gets off way to easy w/ the death penalty. now LWOP.....solitary confinement....thats REAL punishment if u ask me. mix in a daily dose of some sort of torture & that would be even...
