Outstanding question! I have wondered this myself for so long, and like many seemingly insignificant, but super important distinctions, it has just been glossed over in the greater discussion here.

Marking myself safe, and still reasonably sane, from having followed this case on social media all weekend. All the logic, reason, discretion, and grammar! is here on WS. Craziness abounds outside of the decorum shown here in these threads.

Is that the actual wording, "wanted"as opposed to "want?" Because that statement means two completely different things to me depending on which word was used.

I think that is exactly what is going on.....Or someone else associated with "him" in a lie. They know who it is, IMHO. Just trying to get all the legal ducks in a row.

I think the recent press conference and the "current" sketch, and the high-lighted details of the sketch (by LE) are very specific to a single person. And I have told friends who are not following this case "Remember this name, this is the guy" All my opinion of course.

The scanner thread is a treasure trove, at least a couple of the posts are. I suggest everyone read it closely. IMHO of course.

The Crazy Days and Nights post was mine. It was removed almost immediately by the mods as being from a "Gossip" site and not allowed. IMO there's way more going on with this case than just these two losers. And I think it will explode eventually in other directions. The CDAN post can be...
