There could be value in it in some cases I don't know in this one possibly in regards to confessions but if u think about Douglas garland... new evidence and new attempt to have farm search inadmissible if they can get any key evidence out on appeal but need grounds it helps to have...

To me I think the not calling evidence has more to do with appeal... if u don't present evidence st trial it's now new evidence grounds for appeal...

I was in court monday but thought i had to wait til jusry was out for deliberations

I would imagine crown would lay out its case as how they see it and it wont be excessivly long as to keep jury attention and keep it rather freah in their minds however i could be wrong...am at court housetoday and once all is done and am allowed to will let u know how things go

Your right i was over thinking how calmly he laid down for arrest execpt for his journal perhaps

What if he only went in there to hide something key that was not found since we didnt hear of search possibly didnt happen...
