Sorry ,but I think it is 100 percent inappropriate for award to be given for catching a killer PRIOR to trial and publicized. Accused are innocent until PROVEN guilty and this also taints a jury and interferes with any actions to review trooper's actions , etc

If he didn't work Sundays, I don't know how he would know any of her activity for Sunday or whether she would even be visiting.

If he wasn't working Sunday, then he took the SUV there to do this, but good question. How would he know when she would be running that day. (to park there at that time)

If he had seen her running before, while working, possibly knew where she lived, and planned to go there to do this, it shocks me he would park in plain sight where he did for so long. That part is still difficult for me to get my head around. But, I suppose FM could have been right earlier...
