I just noticed that Charli's name is misspelled on this thread. Instead of "Charli" it is "Chari," just the same as the typo on the FindCharliScott Facebook page. Just an FYI. :)

Indeed, why? A lot of suspects do talk. I've watched real-life interrogations where the suspect will gain a sense of ease with the guys who are really out to nail them, thinking they can 'outwit' the cops and DA/PA. It's really kind of a mind-game.

They'd already have his fingerprints from his DUI, but maybe not his DNA. Perhaps with the burglary they can compel his DNA, in order to place him inside the woman's home. Not sure how it works here. I know that in most states, when someone is sent to prison, or even jail, they often do a DNA...

Whether or not she would have gone with him for a drive: It depends on the dynamics of their relationship. If he was abusive and she was still somewhat under his 'control,' then she may have gone. I haven't seen anything that states outright that he was abusive though, not on mainstream media...
