I’m sobbing. I can’t even watch the documentary on HBO, this case hurts me so much. Even though it may be solved I can’t feel anything approaching closure. My prayers continue to be with the families and for the eternal rest of those girls.

I’m not linking because I don’t think Reddit is an approved source, but a woman claiming that she was linked to Cherries through DNA and was interviewed by LE did an AMA recently. Take it with a grain of salt but it’s encouraging!

I’m trying to read between the lines of the press release. Why might LE believe she was headed to Northern California…do they mean, more North than Modesto, and where exactly? Bay Area? Sacramento? Humboldt? Lots of possibilities

I've been Googling and checking Reddit. There's been a recent podcast episode but I don't think any new leads or progress was mentioned. Websleuthers usually are the best informed, which is why I asked.

I don't think this is a case of foul play and I'm cautiously optimistic that mom and baby will resurface soon.
