We are in the midst of planning a Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg summer vacation. Within the last couple of weeks we've had news of the helicopter crash, the hot tub deaths, and today the Space Needle suicide. It's kind of putting a damper on things. It doesn't seem likely (to me anyway) that she would stop first thing in the morning to pick up her child's eczema meds if she were planning a murder/suicide while out and about.

I grew up spending summers with cousins in this town and it really is the way of life. It was much different than the bigger town that I grew up in. Of course that was 30 years ago, it surprises me that it's stayed this way (and obviously shouldn't have).

Exactly, I don't understand it and especially in what we are hearing here, believe it. I can only speculate what did happen at this point, but I definitely don't believe she shot herself, by accident or on purpose.
