If she escaped through the front door while her house was being ransacked, maybe the get away driver saw her, and that's who she recognized.
Or they could have knocked her out in the house and she recovered and escaped temporarily through the front door.
Maybe while Nancy's house was being ransacked, she got away through the front door, but the depraved losers who took her, caught up with her and hit her in the face and brought her back in the house through the front door. I hear criminals hit people in the face to stun them and incapacitate...
The guy in that Ring video looks scary. He must have been bending so he couldn't be seen through the peephole. Has a big tattoo on his neck.
He looks similar to the composite, this Houston sketch artist drew up, from Nancy's porch surveillance...
Retrieved surveillance just shows him disabling the doorbell cam. There was reported to be no signs of forced entry. And Nancy wouldn't have opened the door. Back door was left open. He may have took Nancy out through the front door, because of the blood trail, if she ever got home.

Wouldn't be very safe for SG to let everybody know where she was staying. Especially with the person responsible for her mother's disappearance on the loose.
Maybe the suspects entered the home through the roof. Maybe they have the ladder to hunt for DNA on the roof. Neighbor's surveillance may have caught something on the roof.
