Some suggest here LE had their eyes on him for quite some time... Is it really possible for LE to keep him under "surveillance" since 2019? Are we talking 24/h surveillance? I find that so hard to believe, you'd think he or someone else would notice?

Exactly my thought too. We have an unsolved murder in our town, bloody jacket was found near the scene.. people have been saying "why doesn't anyone recognize the jacket" thinking it belongs to the killer. The killer could have bought it at a GoodWill or found it in a donation bin...

Omg I remember that first arrest! I think he had a bus ticket stub proving he was out of town, and I have a vague memory of him suing after that for the public damage that was done to his name. My memory might be failing me on that last part tho.
