The DP is actually still on the table, should he violate the conditions of this plea agreement. How he could do that, short of escape or attempted escape or a request for early release, though, is beyond me.
I think for the families, justice has been served. They have protection from this...
One interesting thing I forgot and I haven't' seen mentioned anywhere in the media is that his reckless driving charge was nolle prossed as part of the plea deal.
I'll let you ponder what that says about his character/personality.
What disappoints me is that there was no psychiatric evaluation...
That's the one for Morgan. There's another for Hannah.
One thing I found interesting was the judge asking him if he understood that now they can ask him questions and he can't incriminate himself. Don't know if there might be further discussions with him. Hope so.
None. The one reporter stated that he looked down when words like "wicked" were spoken about him. I disagree. The only time his face/head moved was when he looked up as they stood to leave the stand. He didn't flinch.

I wonder how long the wait will be, and if he'll ever be cleared of any so we don't continue to wonder.

#JesseMatthew says he is satisfied by his defense team. By accepting #AlfordPlea, Matthew waives his right to appeal. @WDBJ7
I've been trying to figure this out since it all happened yesterday, but this gives me peace. My concern was that he was...
They did say that the DNA expert was not released and could be recalled.
RG did ID JM pre-trial, did she not? There are several sources stating that she said his hair is different but his face is very familiar/hasn't changed. That sounds like an ID to me, but I don't know if those...
I think the prosecution needs to find those friends who told him it looked just like him and testify to that and that he started growing out his hair! Honestly, I don't think defense had any option but to plant that thought in the minds of the jury. Hopefully someone can do an overlay of his...
The point is made, though, that it was the defense that chose the trial date of June (I'm not sure from what options), in March when they were given all the evidence.
