Denied, denied, denied! In my un-legal, layman's opinion, considering their son, Noah, disappeared, then their daughter removed from their care, then admitting to lying to officers who were there to help find their son, who then happens to be found in the septic tank on the property, it's my...

I bet that precious little girl was checked for everything, except maybe Ebola! But this is only my opinion (I'm going to add this line to my signature!)

I'll try to help find the source. Do you happen to recall any exact quote from the article? That'd make searching for it sooooo much easier.

Snip... According to this quote in the Roanoke Times, it was respiratory problems: "Shortly after Noah Thomas went missing, Fleenor [Commonwealth’s Attorney] said the county Social Services Department was contacted to examine Thomas and White’s 6-month-old daughter, ******* ******...

Unless the baby was critical, I agree. There were other reasons she was removed. I'd just replied to courtneyb about this. (Edited to remove these few sentences. Maybe I shouldn't have said them) Either way, the right call was made in getting her out of that environment. Again, all this is...

Hi Courtney- my original, too lengthy post went the way of the wind, so I'll just say I agree, the baby wasn't removed for just her illnesses, unless she was critical. Social services typically only remove a child as a last resort because of current and future mental health issues it *can* cause...

Thank you very, very much for posting the links! I just logged back on, as I have more time now than when I posted my reply, and was going to search for a source. I appreciate you posting them :)

The 6 month old was removed from the home the day after Noah was reported missing after police called in DSS medical personal who evaluated the baby. It 2 as the Commonwealth’s Attorney who said in court she was removed for (I remember the CA exact quote) "fairly serious respiratory problems."...

I never said, nor was it implied in my comment that Noah's parents were operating a meth lab. It was a small joke about anyone running a meth lab, anywhere. <modsnip>

;) Schmaley- I completely understand your situation, as I have worked in the med field 20 years. Two of those years were in the nursery. What angers me about this specific case is the obvious neglect both Noah and the baby suffered. I'm a parent and in 8 weeks, will be a grandparent; sicknesses...

Typically a forensic autopsy report takes 6-8 weeks, however the most complex cases can take up to 90 days. I've read here that the sheriff asked for it to be rushed but somehow, I missed that in the news. It happens! I replied to another comment that I'm trying to keep in mind the...

BBM... If that's the case, there are many in prison who will surely be demanding retrials; the meth found in their home is proof they're innocent of operating a meth lab.
