Not a lot of info. out there about those details. A lot of people hang out at that park on the weekends when the weather is nice. I’m guessing they either have video or she was with friends that confirm she was there.

She probably lives in the dorms since she’s a freshman. I know some of the UC campuses are making the students live there even though they aren’t doing all of their classes in person. If I had to guess she probably took the BART into SF for the day.

Our local newspaper (I live in the same city as this family) is reporting that the description of the SUV that went into the river matches the families Honda Pilot so maybe that's why he is referring to him in past-tense.

I also live in Santa Clarita and wish they would provide more info. about why they believe she may have been in the area. I can't see why anyone living in Hollywood would come to Newhall unless they were meeting someone. The Rise n Grind coffee shop they mentioned is definitely not in Santa...

Someone who is supposedly related or close to JR stated on FB that he didn't have a FB page and that's why they weren't friends on FB.

The car doused with gas doesn't make sense to me...why wouldn't he just OD with the pills if he was trying to commit suicide.

If the Dad was trying to fake his own or Ara's murder why would he have had prescription drugs in his system? I think he was trying to commit suicide and that's why he took the drugs...but I'm not sure why he would set the car on fire...maybe in case the drugs didn't work.

I recognized the complex DC lives in...it's down the street from me.
