This is so sad. I don't think that Avonte will ever be found. He must have fallen into the river and was swept out to sea. I think about him every day. Prayers for his family during this glorious season.
This should have been chewed out and continued for at least another day. Look at where the poor Alexander family are now. Nowhere. After 5 long months, nothing is concluded. The only one who benefited was CFJA. I am sure she is looking forward to her next appearance before another jury...

Very sad decision by the Jury, but it dictated what in their hearts they felt they had to do. Does anyone know what this mini trial will encompass. I think the Judge needs to rein everyone one in. Impose time limits for testimony. We surely don't need Jodi on the stand for another 18 days...
I am a dedicated Agatha Christie fan. Started reading her 40 years ago. I still watch Masterpiece Mystery when they present her films, which they do often. The Miss Marple and Poirot characters are wonderful, as are the intricate who donnit plots. Excellent.
I had a very strong feeling last Friday that it would not be a fast verdict return and also that the verdict would be manslaughter. I also hope I am wrong. That would mean a complete breakdown of the criminal justice system especially after the Florida travesty.
I find the woman who is often his co-host (I think her name is Jenny) particularly annoying. If DD is not interrupting, then she is, usually with a stupid question or comment as though she just arrived on the planet and is completely befuddled by what is going on.
I think deliberations will go 2 days to a week. I don't believe it is going to be the slam dunk that it should be. In fact, I had a very strong intuitive feeling at the end of trial today that she will be convicted of manslaughter. I hope I am wrong.
