I hope I am wrong about that as well. Kevin's disappearance and obvious murder prematurely killed his parents as well. One can only imagine what that family went through. Kevin sister is still living it.

Furthermore, if the person who is responsible for Kevin's disappearance was a middle aged man at the time, he would be around 70 years old. If not older. May not be alive at all.

I was reading the recent news articles regaining Kevin being groomed and the large reward for any information. I fear that we may never know what happened that night (I HOPE I AM WRONG). The trail has been cold for years, you would think that something would have shaken loose by now.

The between Lee and Kevin's cases. They do have similarities. Not sure of the distance from each area where the boys disappeared. Did Lee's family also receive strange phone calls? Serial murderers tend to have and commit similar acts and behaviours.

The reason I say this? It seems carefully planned and executed. The person has left little or no trail we know of. Furthermore, if there are no known suspects, this person may not seem obvious to authorities......just my thoughts.

I agree. The answer to Kevin's disappearance and the person responsible is not that far away. Just a thought, have we considered that this person may be an authority figure? Teacher or even in the police force?

Same person calling the Hicks house is the person who called the newspaper in 1996. I think.

The women phone caller 1996. Not sure what to make of this. Guilty conscience perhaps? Does not want to give up a loved one. Or playing games with the bill. Hard to say.

The more I think about it, if Kevin was seen waking around at 10 pm that night, maybe the person he was meeting made him wait longer. Just to make sure that he was alone and less people /witnesses around. I don't believe he was randomly taken. Seems unlikely.

Meant cold Sunday night. Sorry for the typos.

One other thing. Did Kevin ever mention to his friends that he was hanging out with an older person? This person not only convinced Kevin not to mention him, but made him feel comfortable meeting him on a could Sunday night, knowing people are unlikely to be around. The trap set.

Furthermore, it would seem strange for a 16 year old to be groomed or tricked. Kevin for sure met up with someone the know that night. The eggs thing is a story he said to get out of the house.

I find the phone calls the the Hicks home interesting. I don't believe that Kevin was making them. The police made the mistake of treating this as a missing persons case instead of a abduction. The person responsible for his disappearance, who I believe knew the Hicks Family and had knowledge of...
